These cover what you can expect when you use this site and book with us. The booking itself is handled by Hospitable; their terms govern the reservation. Our terms cover the website and any rental add-ons you purchase here.
1. About the site
eufaulaporchhouse.com is run by the owner of The Porch House, a privately-owned short-term rental on Lake Eufaula, Oklahoma. The site shows photos and information about the property, embeds a third-party booking widget (Hospitable), and sells optional equipment rental add-ons.
2. Booking your stay
The booking calendar on /book is operated by Hospitable. When you complete a reservation there, Hospitable's terms and cancellation policy apply to the stay itself. You'll receive their confirmation emails and any required communication directly from them.
3. Rental add-ons
Equipment rentals (kayaks, etc.) ordered from /rentals are processed by us, separately from the stay reservation. Before you check out, you'll be shown a rental agreement covering use, condition of equipment, liability, and damage. By signing it and paying, you agree to those terms.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Oklahoma sales tax of 6.5% is applied at checkout.
4. Refunds
Stay reservations: handled per Hospitable's cancellation policy.
Rental add-ons: full refunds release the reserved dates so someone else can book the gear. Partial refunds do not. If something's wrong with what you got, email us; we'll make it right.
5. Use of the site
Don't try to break the site, scrape it for commercial purposes, or use it in a way that interferes with other guests. The admin area at /admin is for the owner.
6. Disclaimer
The site and its contents are provided as-is. We try to keep photos, amenity lists, and area information accurate, but things change. The booking widget and Stripe checkout are third-party services; their availability is not guaranteed. The maximum liability for anything related to this website is limited to the amount you've paid us through it.
7. Changes
If we update these terms, the effective date at the top changes. Substantial changes will be noted on the site.
